Live from Cambridge Open Studios

Jul 19, 2015

Today is my last day of Open Studios in Cambridge UK. It has been another year of visitors from far (Australia) and near (next door) Many have attended my workshops and proudly bring their sketchbooks to show me, some just pop in because they are passing and seem quite suprised to be suddenly transported into an artists studio, some have put all jobs and duties aside for half an hour in their busy day to quietly absorb the work.
This year there has been a steady flow of fellow artists who are genuinely interested in techniques and swapping ‘how to’ and ‘where did you get’ information. Open studios is a great time for artists network and share, many people promised to join the Urban Sketchers Cambridge group (see FB page) which is growing each time we meet up. Thank you all.

Next for me is FIAF – Farindola International Arts Fair in Italy!
