Preparing for Basel Art Fair Switzerland June 2015
After a very busy month finishing a body of work, finally I am packed ready to drive to Basel at the weekend. It is always exciting to see your work complete and ready to be exhibited. Of course finished does just mean ‘painting done’ anymore, there is now all the social media work to do as well as labels, pricing, customs forms, insurance, promotional materials, business cards, accommodation and getting there!
I am taking part in the Scope Basel Art Fair (June 16-21st) with two well known international artists, Paul Critchley and Michael Downs from anOTHERartgallery.com anOTHERartgallery promotes artists whose work is not confined to the normal flat square or rectangle format but are constructed so the boundaries of their work are not controlled by some pre-determined shape. Use of collage and non-convential art materials enhance the pieces created.
